Wu-Yi Tea, while being a form of Oolong tea, has enhanced weight loss properties.
Wu-Yi Tea has been a hot topic both in the mainstream news and around the watercooler. It is a very popular form of a very healthy weight loss tea, but where and how did it actually start? We know that it is derived from China, but the owner of Wu-Yi Tea is actually from the United States and the product is shipped from China to the USA and only sold online.
The owner Michael Taiji first got the idea for Wu-Yi Tea when he visited Chinatown in New York City over 15 years ago. He visited a tea shop and saw the hundreds of different forms of tea that the Chinese provided. He wondered if there was a way to take these teas that claim to help lose weight, and actually find a tea that is solely responsible for burning fat.
Michael went to China and learned more about all the different types of tea and what chemicals were responsible for doing what. He found out that green tea was the best of all these types of tea and was loaded with the fat loss chemical polyphenols that scientists are always talking about. Michael found a way to add polyphenols to green tea by mixing green tea with the wu-yi tea leaf. Voila, Wu-Yi tea was formed and is now the most popular weight loss tea in the world. Wu-Yi Tea come from a special area in China called Mount Wu Shan (also known as Chueh-wu Shan, Ch’u-wu Shan, Mount WuYi, Mount Wu Yi Shan). You can find this area by searching on Google Earth or check out this link – China Travel Guide.
Wu-Yi Tea has other benefits too. What if you could find a supplement on the market that not only helped you lose weight, but could also do great things for your health and wellness. Green tea has long been used as natural medicine for those that are sick. The antioxidants and minerals are said to be able to really improve the body’s health and keep you feeling great for a long time.
You can find so many forms of green tea on the market today, it is tough to figure out which kinds are the best. Simply type green tea into a search engine and you can find ten different kinds in a matter of seconds. You already know that Wu-YI Tea is the most popular green tea in the world, some other popular kinds are:
- Dragon Well. It is very low in caffeine, and has a smooth walnut type taste. This is a very popular version in China, and contains many of the same qualities as Wu Yi, but not quite as strong fat loss content.
- Mao Jian is another huge green tea that is hard to find outside China. It has a sweet, but almost soapy taste that causes many people to favour other kinds of green tea instead.
- The third and final most popular green tea is called Bi Luo Chun and is from the South of China. This is probably the best tasting of all the green tea, but has nowhere near the dietary effects that any of the other green teas have.
In conclusion, you won’t find any better tea for its antioxidant properties than Wu-Yi Tea. It now has many competitors also from China, but none seem to be able to match the complete effects Wu-Yi has on your body.
